Looking for a big two weeks in Scotland
Ross is at Loch Lomond this week for the Barclays Scottish Open, the first of two Scottish events culminating in next weeks Open Championship at St. Andrews.

After a fine 2nd place finish at the BMW International Open in Germany, Ross was disappointed to miss the cut in France last week, but is gunning to bounce back in Scotland.

"I have always performed well at Loch Lomond and enjoy coming here," said Ross, who has finished 19th, 25th and most recently 8th in his last three visits to the venue.

"I finished 2nd in Germany having putted poorly, hence there are a lot of positives in my game and I am very close to achieving a really big result."

Ross has a busy schedule of five big money events coming up.  The two tournaments in Scotland, then a week off before playing the 3 Irish Open.  Fisher then travels directly to the US for a WGC and the seasons final Major, the US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.

"The next six weeks are massive for me and I am really looking forward to them.  There are big World Ranking and Ryder Cup points up for grabs, and I can make a serious move in the Race to Dubai also.

"Germany proved that if I play well I can compete at the top, and if I play very well I can win.

"If I play my best I know I have the game to win a Major.  Obviously in 2009 I played well in all of them and had a great chance to win two (the US Open and The Open).  So far this season the Majors have not gone to plan but you could say that generally the whole season has not gone to plan.  I haven't been as sharp as I like, but I am not a far from where I want to be.”

Ross concluded, “Still, I am 32nd in the Race to Dubai and am 12th in the European Ryder Cup points and well within reaching distance of making that team.  It's not a bad position to be in at all and I am relishing the opportunities to make a big move over the next six weeks.  I know I have a big result in me."
